Bethshalom can presently accommodate up to 25 residents who are able to walk and remain physically active.
Bethshalom, located at Pottanchira, Edavattom P.O., Thalayolaparambu, Kottayam District, is a ministry of Bethlehem Charitable Trust. It is a residential care home for elderly persons and others who are able to walk and remain physically active, yet need a safe, supportive and loving place to live.
Here, residents receive dignified accommodation, nutritious meals, everyday care, companionship and spiritual encouragement in a peaceful, Christ-centred environment — helping them live with purpose, comfort and hope.
Bedridden patients and those requiring palliative care are cared for at Bethlehem Geriatric Care Home, where specialised nursing and medical support are available. Bethshalom is dedicated to those who can move about independently and benefit from an active residential setting.
Bethshalom begins with a focused residential capacity and looks ahead with a clear vision — to welcome more residents as God provides and as the premises expand.
Bethshalom can presently accommodate up to 25 residents who are able to walk and remain physically active.
Additional beds will soon be added so that Bethshalom can welcome up to 30 residents with the same standard of care.
Our long-term vision is to extend the premises and grow Bethshalom to accommodate up to 100 residents.
